Loves to mail us things

We received a box from her tonight. Some of the contents: a pile of about 25 old business cards (most listed beeper numbers), a straight razor, a magnifying glass, some coloring books, a car magazine from 2003, toothbrushes for the boys (as usual... See previous post), an assortment of comic strips on which she has written people's name over characters (I'm always the frazzled woman who is bad at housework), a card signed by the cats (addressed to my kids), and a random "8" birthday candle (her grandson turns three this week). 

Likes to keep in touch

She also encourages my husband to keep in touch with people from high school. She helped him out this week by mailing him all of his friends' pager numbers. And then seem astonished that (1) people no longer have pagers and (2) that people likely do not have the same number they had 15 years ago. 

Practices good dental hygiene...

She has mailed my children no less than 20 toothbrushes each in the past 18 months. Not joking. 20. It has reached such an excessive level that my four year old said tonight, "what's up wiff all these toofbrushes. Does my mouf stink?"

Loves a good read...

She wanted to make sure we had some quality reading material handy. In 2013. 

Is allergic to cats.

And complains that this is an issue. But has 4 cats inside her house and a pack roaming in her back yard. 

Loves time with her grandkids.

She is upset she doesn't get more quality time with them. Oddly enough, she is not coming to a bbq this weekend(that we will be attending) that is .25 miles away from her front door. 

Takes her recycling seriously.

She cussed out my husband and nearly cried because two non-recyclable items were placed in the recycling bin. Luckily, the items were relocated and no demerits are on her recycling record.
